About Martin and Karen

Karen and I have lived in this part of Wales for over 25 years. We both grew up in London but Karen's yearning to embrace the countryside drove us to move step by step further West until we ended up in our beautiful valley.

Having raised our three children and since moving to Wales, Karen chose to spend a lot of her time painting - an unusual hobby for someone who has become progressively partially sighted in recent years! Her pictures are intriguing and you will find some of her work scattered around the farmhouse and cottage. Sadly, her eyesight has now become so poor that she is unable to paint any more.

I have spent my career travelling the world as a music producer, engineer and theatre sound designer and this fast pace of life made returning to our home here a restful pleasure. However, we've finally slowed down enough to enjoy what we have worked hard for in our lives.

Our home is a just few hundred meters away so we are ‘on hand’ should you need anything.
